Rivers Casino Bridges Ballroom

DLA+ was engaged by Rivers Casino to renovate and expand their lounge and event spaces. The project involved creating two new premium areas while staying true to the Casino's identity. DLA+ collaborated closely with the Rush Street Gaming team to ensure the new designs reflected the Casino's distinctive style. Additionally, the design team undertook an interior refresh of the existing pre-function and event spaces to complement the new areas. Video credits: Rivers Casino

Project Challenges and Outcomes

Challenges

One of the major challenges of this project was the expedited design and construction schedule required to bring these spaces online swiftly. Extensive planning was necessary to ensure the renovations were completed with minimal disruption to the Casino, which operates around the clock.

Outcomes

The Black Card Lounge introduces 2,000 square feet of luxurious lounge space, providing an exclusive dining experience for the Casino's high-profile guests.   The new, state-of-the-art Bridges Ballroom banquet facility adds 25,000 square feet of versatile space, including pre-function areas, hosting spaces, and various breakout rooms. This flexible venue can accommodate a wide range of events, from weddings and corporate gatherings to conferences and more. The space features stunning views of the river and Pittsburgh's skyline, with adjacent outdoor areas available for use during events or as additional pre-function space.
